AOSP WiFi Keyboard
AOSP WiFi Keyboard is a modified version of the standard Jelly Bean AOSP Keyboard. Developed by Marcos Diez, this Android app offers a range of additional features to enhance the typing experience.
One of the key modifications in this keyboard is the merge with Ivan Volosyuk's WiFi Keyboard. This allows users to connect their PC's browser to their phone and use the PC's keyboard to type on their device. This feature is particularly useful for developers testing their apps and people who want to type on WhatsApp even faster. The best part is that it works on any browser without the need for plugins or additional software installation on the PC.
The AOSP WiFi Keyboard also includes a German QWERTY layout, as opposed to the standard QWERTZ layout. Additionally, both German and Portuguese layouts now support the same set of international keys, enabling users to type in any of these three languages seamlessly. The app also introduces a Russian Phonetic Keyboard, further expanding its language support.
